Traditional Cheddar Cheesemaking Class
Learn to make traditional Cheddar and fresh cheese curds with the Modern Milkmaid™!

Saturday, August 14th from 9:00 am–5:00 pm Pacific Daylight Time (12:00 pm–8:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time).
The Cheddar class will run between 7 and 8 hours; however, you will not be hovering over your pot the entire time, as there are several long gaps in the cheesemaking process where you can do other things. Keep in mind that you will need to adjust the weight of your press about an hour after the class ends, so you will be finishing around 6:00 pm Pacific/9:00 pm Eastern.
Add a cheesemaking kit to your order and get all the specialty ingredients you'll need (except milk and salt) to make up to 8 batches of traditional Cheddar cheese. The Standard kit also includes a cheese mould, cheese mat, and cream wax.
The moulds are stacking, if you purchase additional moulds, you can stack them during pressing.
