Gouda Cheesemaking Class (September 12, 2020)
In this cheesemaking class, Modern Milkmaid™ & Artisan Cheesemaker Naomi De Ruiter will teach you how to make a traditional Gouda, from culturing the milk and cutting the curd to waxing and ageing your finished cheese!
The class takes place in the loft at Farmer John's Market, a working dairy farm and farm market in Grindrod, BC. The class starts at 1:00 pm, and will end around 4:00 pm.
A cup of coffee or tea and a freshly-baked treat from the café is included with your ticket.
**Please note that due to COVID-19 and social distancing requirements, this class will not offer a hands-on cheesemaking experience, but there will be a cheese tasting.**
