Get ready for summer grilling season with this online Halloumi cheesemaking class!
This is a two-part class that takes place during a single day. During the first portion of the class (2.5 to 3 hours), we will make the cheese, followed by a 3-hour break while the curds press. Then we will get back together for another 90 minutes to finish the cheesemaking process, and your Halloumi will be ready to eat the very next day!
NEXT CLASS DATE:
Cheesemaking kits are optional and mailed 3-4 weeks before the class date. The basic kit includes all the specialty ingredients and equipment you'll need (except milk and salt) to make up to 8 batches of Halloumi. The standard kit also includes a mould for pressing your cheese, and you can choose between a small or medium food-grade polypropylene mould and follower. The small mould is the perfect size for making cheese using 4 litres/quarts of milk, while the medium mould is best for 8 litres/quarts.
